Asymptomatic AF .... continued

Just want to thank all of you who have made comments on my original post. So, first things first ...... I did the CoVid test today and I am all clear.

So now I need to investigate Bisoprolol more analytically and see where I get to. Later this week I will reply to those of you who have gone to so much trouble to express their views.

Thank you all.

Stay safe, its a wild old, hot old world. Funnily enough this weather reminds me of the olden days when I began bus driving in Sydney around 1992. No buses in Sydney in those days were air conditioned. But then again - no buses in Sydney were hydrogen powered either. What a changing world.

John.

What you reported the other day - I've had. Like you tested negative. Couldn't get warm, lethargic, aches, high BP! I believe it might've been COVID despite negative tests 4 times. Why? It's similar to what I had in April 2020, when we all thought it was about coughing. BTW both times slight dizziness and buzzing in the ears. Hope it's going John - it's a virus. If it's like mine it'll have another go in a week's time but not as bad. Rest, hydration and extra high potency Vit D are my suggestions.

Hi John - just read your post of yesterday, late to the party again!

Like Singwell I’ve had exactly the symptoms you described and way before COVID. There are a lots of types of virus around at the moment apart from COVID but don’t discount that just because of a negative LFT as they can miss. Keep on testing for a day or so.

I put symptoms down to autonomic dysfunction when I have an infection - I get a lot of infections, mostly mild, because of being immune suppressed. Symptoms: can’t get warm despite ambient temperature and often hot water bottle, duvet + blankets, overwhelming tiredness and fatigue, internal shaking and brain fog are my usual symptoms. Rest, hydrate and paracetamol usually help.

I didn’t get the dizziness exactly but a sense of some force pushing me to one side, very odd! Tittinus for sure is always worse and often flare up of herpes and sinus infections.
