I came across this article and have not heard of this before. Has anyone any experience of the procedure for treatment of AF.

Not sure of the question you are asking? This article looks as though it refers to the equipment used to ablate for AF. Does your question refer to this mode of equipment - which from the article seems to be part of experimental clinical trial to assess feasibility in which case as it’s dated 2020 it will probably be years before it is in general use and that is if it passes FDA and other regulatory bodies.

OR were you referring to PV ablation per se?

The report clearly states the study was not designed to study outcomes.

I did wonder if this is an alternative name for ‘pulsed field ablation’? That seems to be a promising newer technique - first one in the UK was performed recently.
