Because of my scheduling today was my follow up for my Vein of Marshall ablation. It has been almost 6 weeks. Good news I am in perfect sinus rhythm and have already been removed from Multaq. as of today.
I have been very down because I am still having issues breathing and walking with the same type of symptoms including pressure on my chest. Dr. Valderrabano said even though it was highly aggressive I should still have only had any type of pain for about a week. He has scheduled me for an echo to see if I have fluid around my heart. Whatever it is it is not my AFIB my BP and everything else could not be better 115/68. I am overweight so imagine if I can get into shape again. Doctor said whatever it is we are going to find out and take care of it. I knew I liked him and I felt confident about him. This was my third ablation but this was more than an ablation you would have to read about it to learn more it’s very complicated. It consisted using my carotid artery, femoral artery and wrist. I had no doubts going in and I’m very glad that I have a doctor that I do. He is at Houston Methodist Hospital in Houston Texas. DeBakey Cardiology. I will be 70 in August and I feel blessed that here in the US it is much easier to get treatment and no discrimination because of our age. It is possible that in time I will not need any medication for a fib. This particular procedure is for the long-haul and originally I guess I expected to feel better the next day as I did after my cryo-and RF ablations
If you were lucky enough to be able to get some thing like what I got Please try it. I want quality of life and I didn’t have it and right now I am struggling a bit but not because of a fib and they are trying to find out what it is. Fight for your rights to feel better
