😀😃😆🤣. Oops!
I don't get it. Broccoli is delicious 🙂
Poor you Bob, you fell right into that. The only way I'll eat broccoli is in a cheese sauce.
Broccoli is doable. Its Kale that I just don't get, however much I try !
Try it roasted till it’s dry and crisp - delicious.
Substitute brocoli sprouts, like cress and my London Naturopath did a research project on them and evidently far more powerful from a health perspective. I sprout a jar full every month, easy to do.
I try to serve something my husband likes like a baked potato or sliced spuds baked in the oven as the staple to take the pain of broccoli away. I love it. He is far more fussy than I am about veg .
Sorry Bob I'm a newbie, what's broccoli got to do with our heath, I know it supposed to be good for us, so is there something we should be cautious about. Seriously it a proper question.Pete
Broccoli is contra indicated if you take warfarin as the high Vit K content upsets INR. Same with lots of green veg.
Warfain is a Vitamn K antagonist and works through the liver to slow down the clotting ability of your blood measurable by your INR readings. The more modern anticoagulants are factor X antagonists and work on a different part of the clotting process so are unaffected by diet.
Hope that helps.
🤦♀️ I grill it with lemon juice til charred and add some shaved Romano cheese at the end. My husband actually doesn’t just eat it this way, but likes it, too!
