Ectopics or SVT?

Hi all, I had an ablation for SVT in July of 2020 and since then I have not had any bouts of SVT - although the ablation has left me with ectopics. Sometimes, like just now, I have these weird bouts where my heart feels like it’s flip flopping all over the place. It almost feels like it’s going to start going into SVT but just keeps flip flopping (skipping beats or having too many beats), it’s the weird sensation and it’s really scary. Thankfully the one that just happened only lasted a few seconds but still. Anyone have similar experiences? Thanks.

It is a weird sensation but without knowing what they are it’s really difficult to comment.

You would need to capture on an ECG and have them analysed to know for sure. It’s very common to have ectopic beats prior or following any other arrythmia and one doctor told me that it’s a positive sign. If they are only for a few seconds and you aren’t symptomatic then personally if it were me, I would ignore them.

Are you able to use a mobile ECG or smart Watch to capture them?

Hello, I had my first encounter. With what you described, About 45 years ago. That's when my cardiologist at the time. Which I was soon to find out that it's. They didn't. know what to do with it. What it was, Well he told me to ignore it. Which I did, no sense getting more upset. About something, I can't control.

Perhaps there is something you can do about it, naturally. carrafibdietinfo.com/

Hey,

I had my ablation for SVT in May 2021 and still get ectopics all the time.

They have lessened as time has gone on but they are annoying. The most frustrating part is I never had ectopics or felt them at least prior to the operation.

I feel them most when I do high intensity exercise but sometimes I get them when I’m lying down on my side.

I have a feeling it’s just something that I will live with going forward and as long as they aren’t interfering too heavily with my life then that’s okay. If you are worried about them though you should definitely see a doctor and try to capture them on a monitor.
