If I were you?

And very recently from what you say we could have had similar problems except I don’t get pain or out of breath, I went to A and E at Shrewsbury, I learned a lot that day, turns out that it was Atrial Flutter which just felt like SVT my finger monitor said 120 bpm but when they took an ECG if was 150bpm, they gave me Another Bisoprolol and gradually it went away. The next morning I saw the cardio consult who took the time to explain everything. The right thing to do it go get help they were just great and I went home feeling very reassured. Would like to say thanks to the staff there especially Sam and Dave who chatted with me all night and so much tea and toast 😜. Hero’s , all of them.

Hi Jean,I’ve just checked and the honest answer is I haven't got a clue. There was a post from a chap who was asking what he should do under similar circumstances. Oops?

Don't worry it makes me realise that I'm not alone in the world and others are just as confused. You've made me laugh, thank you for that.

Well that’s made my day too, I could probably manage it most days, I get so worried when I have irregular beats but the consult just said we tend to worry a lot less about them than patients do, good enough for me😊

I've had AF for 17 years and at times when having an attack during the night, it would feel like my heart was trying to bash it's way out of my chest. I really thought I'd be found dead the next day. Used to text my daughter and say please check on me in the morning. All the worry I put myself through and I'm still here, but so much better now.

AF is so different for everyone and I know people that have had far worse attacks than me. That's the thing with us forum members here, in general we only know AF as bad as we've personally experienced.

Wow, I think over that length of time they think you can get used to the strange rhythms but like I said to the cardio consultant Would you drive your car anywhere if the engine ran like that?

Good luck
