Only a warm feeling as it was injected and a metallic taste in my mouth.

I suppose it was about 4 or 5 years ago. I have had numerous MRI and CT scans. I have never had any side effects at all except during the procedure the metallic taste and the warm feeling.

I essence absolutely nothing for you to worry about.

Never had any side effects after MRI with contrast there is a funny taste but they gave me something to drink afterwards which seemed to take the taste away and a lovely warm feeling when the contrast injected - they did tell me to bring a CD to play whilst in the machine - glad I did but should have taken something really loud and heavy as the sound of the machine was awesomely loud! Maybe that was an old machine but I am about 70% deaf and I could still hear the sound of the machine clunking away over Mozart. Also wear thick socks the room is cool because of the machinery and chemicals etc so my feet got really cold whilst in the machine.

Well you usually have one scan without the contrast and then a Doc comes in and injects the contrast and you have another scan. It all depends on what the scan is for and what they want to see mine was a pelvic scan and I was in for 45 mins longer than usual because they were looking for something in particular. I think usually for standard scans it is about half an hour usually less. Mine wasn't helped by the fact that when the Doc was called for the injection she was unable to be found straight away and then decided she had to ask me a load of questions which if they needed to be asked should have been asked before the scan. This was a while ago now 2006 so possibly a nurse can now inject the contrast who is already on site. Also our hospital hadn't long had the MRI scanner so possibly they weren't sure about some of the procedures. Have you been given any information about your scan? If not you should ring the x ray department and ask them for information. I have always been given a pamphlet from the hospital explaining everything about the scans I am to be given. You may find that your hospital has some information on line about the scans as some hospitals do but better off calling them as you may be able to get a more personalised answer.

Numerous MRIs w/ contrast. Be sure to get ear plugs, or earphones with music, and definitely make sure they tell you the length of each segment via earphones prior to it beginning. If you're claustrophobic, meds to relax help. Never had an adverse reaction to dye. Just a bit of temporary warmth going in.

The only side effect was when the contrast medium pressure was too high, and I developed phlebitis in the arm. Since then, I ask for a pressure test with sterile fluid beforehand. I've had a number of CT scans including a virtual cystoscopy and a hot CT for an enlarged prostate without any issues or after effects.

No side effects whatsoever, apart from the inevitable woosh of feeling warm as the injection goes in and the feeling you have wet yourself (you haven’t but it feels like you have, weird ).

Yes I had exactly that last week and another one today, no issues whatsoever. I'm also on apixaban and bisoprolol for AF along with Gabapentin (opiods) and morphine at bedtime.

Had about 4 MRI 1 with contrast checking my Prostrate, 1 x CT with contrast. Today had full body scan checking for bone issues where I had a radioactive dye injected 2 hours before yet a different type of radioactive scan.

I've had two, and the only side effects were a warmish feeling as it entered my body and a strange taste in my mouth. Both lasted only minutes -- the procedure was no big deal.
