I had my ablation over 11 weeks ago and have been fine in respect of a fib and ectopics. After consultation with my cardiologist it was agreed that I would gradually reduce the carvedilol
I currently take 6.25 twice a day. Yesterday I reduced the evening dose to 3.25 thereby halving the evening dose. I was woken at 3 am with ectopics that lasted a minute also.

I wonder If anyone else has experienced ectopics etc following a reduction in medication
I clearly understand that the reduction has to be done gradually and that’s what I’m doing.

I’m reducing my bisop and am down to quarter tablet now with few issues. No ectopics or af thus far 🙏 I’m reducing quarterly, so went down too 3/4 for a week, then half for another week, quarter for a further week from yesterday and then nothing at all next Tuesday/Wednesday 😬 hopefully continues the way it has been 🤞
