I read once that being prepared early for things helps reduce stress and improve quality of life. ~
This morning we set out to do just that and made both the Chestnut and the Lemon Parsley and Thyme stuffings for Christmas. These are now slumbering in the freezer. Next job is the mince meat for the mince pies .
I also read that another way to inner calm was to make sure that you finish everything you start so i went through the cupboards and found half a bottle of white wine looking bored. Once that was dispatched I found some Taylors Port I had forgotten so that also had to go. A small amount of Grappa went the saem wey and I'm currantly dealing with some Taliska from teh ssittinng rume.
Starkle starkle little twink
I'm not as thunk as drinkle pink.
Its beginning to look a lot like Christamas.

Brilliant. Thank you for a good laugh. I started to read and thought, goodness me, he is a paragon. Perhaps he can come and cook for me? Then I read on….perhaps not.
🤣🤣🤣. That’s good! We have prepared a few things for Christmas too. Hadn’t done stuffings though. We have our favourite red cabbage done the Deilia Smith way in the freezer, home made cranberry relish and brandy butter. Cakes having a drink of brandy every Sunday in preparation and puddings in the cupboard make my mouth water every time I open the door and get a whiff. We’ve already polished off a couple of dozen mince pies so wife said she’s not making lore for a while. As soon as I see them in the shops I need to eat one! 🤣
