A lot of people join and spend time reading through old posts. If they then comment on one then it is reactivated and you will be informed. I recently had a question from a member about a post from five years ago. Any question or answer generates this regardless of the age of the original post.
Ditto to what BobD says, assuming the comments are positive, you should be flattered 😉
Yep ditto, ditto what Bob and FJ have said. It's quite bewildering when it happens, especially if they talk about something you asked a question about, or commented on many years ago. It's a little bit embarrassing telling them you're ok now.
