Amusing tale.

I just wanted to share this little story about what happened to me today which I found very funny indeed. It’s nothing to do with my AFIB etc but hopefully it will bring a smile and a laugh.👍 I lost one my eyes from a accident at school as a child. after finishing work today I called into a shop for some beans and started searching for them after looking high and low and not finding any I asked the chap at the counter where they were if any.? He said with a smile they are straight in front of you sir are your EYES PAINTED ON.????? So I replied well actually ONE is painted on.!! We both had a good laugh about it when I explained my reply to him. We can always have a laugh no matter what. 👍

My mother's cousin Jim lost an eye as a child and wore a glass one all his life. Used to terrify me as a child by taking it out and polishing it!

Those old artificial eyes were horrible to be honest bob. I was fitted with my first one in the early 70’s and it looked like half a golf ball painted with a iris and pupil.!!! But thankfully things moved on and by time I got to 20s they were starting to look something like ok.👍

Micheal bispings false eye is superb. Probably paid a decent amount for it but it looks bloody good. Maybe you should check it out. To be fair though he didn’t lose his whole eye. Just a detached retina so hes blind in that eye. The false one sits over the top of his old eye.
