Suggest you put into the search box and see previous threads - very controversial on this site for the principle reason that it cannot be monitored and not enough is known about it especially in conventional medicine.

Nattokinase is controversial, but that has not stopped me from making the decision to use it. I take a brand out of Japan that has been used in over 35 clinical studies and is highly regulated. The claim by some that it cannot be monitored is questionable, because the studies are very specific about the active levels in your blood over the course of 24 hours. I have seen 4 cardiologists, not one of whom had ever heard of nattokinase, even though it has been used worldwide for decades for the purpose of blood thinning and clot busting. As my GP physician said to me " just like car salesmen are trained to sell cars, doctors are trained to study only Big Pharma". Its a difficult decision to make if you have AFIB, but after having been permanently damaged by Big Pharma drugs, I refuse to use them. In America the number two cause of death is "medical or pharmaceutical mistakes". I marvel at the number of side effects I see on this site from blood thinners and beta blockers, but I certainly respect one's right to make the choice to use them. To each his own.

hi kingst, thx for this most valuable info about nattokinase. may I ask which brand from Japan do you use? after 15 years of living with this arrhythmia, which by the way is quite tolerable as the irregular heart beat stays within the range of 50 to 75, and using just aspirin 81 mg strength, I feel I ought to perhaps add nattokinase to the regimen as I, like yourself, abhor allopathic drugs of all kinds. so I'd be willing to try the brand of nattokinase that you use presently. also, wishing you all the best luck on your journey towards health.

Thank you, I would be happy to provide the brand of nattokinase I use, and I suggest you do a thorough research on it to see for yourself the way this has been studied in Asia. The brand I use is LABO Nutrition, and I take 2 different versions of their nattokinase: VesseCLEAR EX (Nattokinase NSK-SD +Elastin F) which is once a day, and VesseCLEAR CX (Nattokinase NSK-SD 40 with Gamma Oryzanol) which is twice a day. Each month i alternate between the VesseCLEAR EX and the VesseCLEAR CX, because studies show that to keep optimum levels of nattokinase in your blood, it is recommended to take it twice a day. However, the once a day version is equally as effective but it also offers the elastin. I buy it on Amazon because I get free shipping with them. I should point out that the very reason I developed AFIB was from taking a pharmaceutical drug! And every single person I know has been harmed in one way or another from pharmaceuticals. So you can see that I have an extreme prejudice against them. BUT, I do think there are many truly helpful drugs out there, not the least of which is aspirin. I have made the decision against blood thinners and beta blockers because, after reading the details of lawsuits against drugs like Eliquis, I just am not going to risk it. I hope you have a wonderful resolution to your arrhythmia. Oh, by the way, I have reduced my own arrhythmia by at least 70% by taking UNDA Gemmo Therapy Crataegus Oxyacantha, which is a special extraction of hawthorn. I wasn't expecting much when I started taking it, but I have been amazed at what a difference it has made. You might want to research Gemmotherapy. It has nothing to do with gems! lol...Good Luck!!

The first time I had Afib, they recommended I take Coumadin, but I refused. I started to take Nattokinase, and a few months later I had a blood clot in my femoral artery. Regret I didn’t start Coumadin. Just my story!
