Kardia extra beats

Hi, (hopefully) I've attached a partial image (the remainder of the Kardia reading seems fine) of one of my Kardia readings which came back as Normal. However, at the end of the first line and beginning of the second there appear to be 2 or 3 extra beats which otherwise seem normal. Could these be ectopic beats? Thanks for any ideas.

Not sure those 4 beats are ectopics Steve as there are no compensatory pauses anywhere near them before the following beats. My guess would be an extremely short run of tachycardia?

Thanks very much for your reply Finvola. This is the first time that I have seen anything like this on my Kardia since I purchased it in early April. Maybe I should keep a lookout in future and if it reoccurs mention to my EP at the next consultation. Not sure if it is anything of any concern. I certainly didn't feel anything unusual at the time. Thanks again.

Thanks for your reply Padayn01. Not sure what happened, just looks like heart rate speeded up for about 2-3 seconds then went back to previous rate.

Do you have any other symptoms has this happened before?

No symptoms at all, and it hasn't happened before when taking Kardia readings. I'll just mention to my EP next time I see him and keep an eye out in the meantime in case it happens again. Thanks.

As it has a T wave it would be a normal single but premature beat.So to my knowledge it would be a common ectopic or premature heartbeat.

Thanks for the feedback Palpman. I'll keep an eye out to see if it happens again

Thanks very much for your reply DrDave. I'll keep an eye out in future and hopefully they won't occur too often.
