Thanks for posting. It reinforced my thoughts that it is best to maximise Lifestyle changes on all fronts including alcohol and then once AF is stabilised, if you still crave for somethings, introduce it back very slowly one at a time.

"more work needs to be done to better ascertain which populations/body types/behaviors/exposures are linked to the development of new-onset arrhythmias." YES. Thanks for this and your earlier post.

Wow...read the article and associated link...new study shows fish oil can cause new onset AF!!!

Did my regular Krill oil usage cause my AF???

“Fish oils increase the risk of atrial fibrillation substantially, and there is no solid evidence that they help the heart in anyway,” Nissen remarked. “It’s a sad story for cardiology.”

I'm finding the more I read about bioflavonoids and supplements and all that, the more I believe we need a quality mixed healthy diet and that you cannot just isolate compounds and think they are a magic bullet. Those compounds all interact with each other in a way we dont understand yet.

Having said all that I have just purchased some Ascorbic Acid and Rutin and Hesperidin tablets. The former is just vit C and the latter are supposed to help with nosebleeds, of which I suffer a lot. I think its just going to make expensive wee but you never know....

Plus supplements are badly regulated so lots don t even contain anything useful, how can THAT be legal!
