I have had tachycardia for 12 hours a week after a cardiac ablation. Probly also worsened by stress of losing mum two days ago. How long does it last for? Anyone had this problem?

Tachycardia too long
So sorry to hear your are struggling both with tachycardia and the loss of your mum, what a dreadful time for you. I would be contacting my medic if i was you and ask for advice re your heart rate. Please don't put up with it you need their expertise and treatment they feel it necessary. Better safe than sorry. Best wishes.
Oh Cozzie99, I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your mum. Yes, that's almost certainly the reason for your tachycardia taking off and at a guess I don't think it will calm down until you do. As Meadfoot has suggested, I would contact the department who carried out your ablation and ask their advice. Please let us know how you get on.
Sending you a big, soothing and healing hug.
Jean
“Best speak to arrhythmia nurse where you had it done. Could be atrial tachycardia (not uncommon post ablation) and need cardioverting. What is the rate? Typically ATach is 140 ish.”
You posted twice. Here is BobD’s reply on the other thread, tidied up because I think his pc may be playing up. Hope you don’t mind BobD.
Truly sorry for your loss. I hope you get the care you need.
So sorry to hear of your loss. Get some help with the tachycardia. You have enough to cope with at the moment without your heart playing up as well.
Best wishes.
I'm so sorry for the loss of your Mother. Stress of that type can most definitely affect arrhythmias. However, your tachy is most likely (from my experience) from inflammation caused by the ablation. That will settle down once things heal. Good luck -- in both types of healing.
