Hi Guys, long time lurker...first time writer.....I'm a healthy 59YO male and had an ablation for AB about three months ago and seem to be recovering enough so much so that I have been thinking about dipping my toes back in the water - date wise.
I am wondering if anyone has had experience with my three favourite pastimes, and the safety of mixing edible Marijuanna (cookie) and a 1/4 tab of viagra (25mg). I have been searching on the net but seeing various opposing views. Have a date tomorrow....wish me luck....

Id probably swerve the marijuanna tbh.....the viagra have no idea. What does it say on the drugs guidance notes -they usually put on conditions etc that its not suitable for.
thanks Wavy, doc said previously Viagra is fine.....its the other I'm wondering about... won't have an opportunity to ask him again until next check up in 3 months.
It wouldn’t be the best situation would it, after a viagra and a joint, your getting down to it with a lovely lady and you have to stop cause your having a heart attack....
Cannabis can / does increase heart rate - it's not a good idea IMO with afib. There have been other posts on the forum about it and people have different opinions. For me personally I think it's best avoided.
Man, I think it's a bad idea. You should probably avoid marijuana if you have a date and expect it to end well. Because when I use marijuana or any CBD products, I fall asleep immediately after my head hits the pillow, and I think that's not what you expect. But it may be because I take these gummies neurogan.com/ , and they're made to support the sleep cycle, so I'm not quite sure about this effect on you.
I’m in a similar boat age-wise and also deal with ED, which I manage with Viagra. It’s been very effective for me, and I usually take 25mg when needed. That said, I don’t use marijuana, so I can’t speak from personal experience about combining the two. However, I’ve read that mixing Viagra with marijuana (even edibles) might not be ideal for everyone.
Both can affect blood pressure—Viagra lowers it, and marijuana can either raise or lower it depending on the person. For some, this mix could cause dizziness or lightheadedness, which might not be what you want on a date. If your body’s still adjusting post-ablation, it’s worth being extra cautious.
If you’re set on trying the combo, maybe stick to a lower dose of the edible and monitor how you feel. Ultimately, your health comes first, and a little moderation now can go a long way.
Wishing you a great date and smooth sailing ahead! 😜
