Hello,

I wonder if anyone has an idea of the current waiting time for an ablation at Kings College Hospital, London? Thanks Penny

Unless one of the members is on the list, I doubt anyone will be able to give you that information. The easiest and best way to find out is to ring the hospital and ask to speak to someone in the cardiac scheduling department. Very often, your EP’s secretary can tell you who to contact......

Again, thank you. This will be my third ablation if I have one but my first since moving from France. Waiting time was a few weeks there and apparently I’ve been in afib since November so I was just wondering.

Totally unrelated, but you are in the best hands. I worked at this hospital for 18 years and although I am biased, they are all brilliant. My husband received amazing cardiac treatment at KCH. Best wishes to you. x

Hello Penny. Did you get an answer to your question in waiting time for ablations at King’s. I am being treated there by Dr Scott who says I need an ablation but has not put me on the waiting list yet due to a weight issue.

Hello,Thank you. I haven't heard from anyone except that Dr Murgatroyd told me everything is very behind hand. To be expected.

I'm waiting to hear about a cardioversion as well and am hoping that may be a little sooner but it hardly feels fair to ask if they have any idea how long these things might take under the current circumstances.

I would like to know though, I'm not good with uncertainty and even less good at waiting!

I do hope you get your issues sorted out as quickly as possible. With good wishes

I waited a year in Devon. Had it April 2020.Unsuccessful so back on the list. Last time I asked the cardiologist he had 'no idea' how long.
