Swollen lymph nodes after covid vaccine

It has been reported that several women here in the USA have experienced swollen lymph nodes under the armpit and around the collarbone and a few other areas of the body. Some swollen lymph nodes have been shown in mammograms. At first those who had the vaccines and experienced the swollen lymph nodes thought it was cancer. Dr Devon Quasha in Boston, Massachusetts, a primary care physician, was due for a mammogram. The results showed swollen lymph nodes in her breasts. She also had swollen nodes in her armpit and around her collarbone. On the same side she received her shot. After discussion with other Drs, they came to the conclusion that the swollen nodes were due to the immune system responding to the vaccines. Even though she's a Dr she was pretty scared in the beginning. But if a patient does have concerns about cancer the Drs are saying to go ahead and ask for a biopsy, especially if the person has already had cancer. So something else to be aware of with the vaccines. I imagine as time goes by, there will be more findings about the vaccines. Good to know should anyone experience something strange after receiving their shot.

Hurray! The Johnson&Johnson vaccine is starting to be distributed in the USA. It's one shot. The one I and my partner have been waiting for. It's very effective and effective against the worse South African variant.

Hope all of you around the world are staying safe and well. My heart goes out to any of you who have lost loved ones to this awful virus. May God keep watch on them and you.

Places here in the USA are starting to lift some of the guidelines. To me it's a little too soon. But then it's all about politics. And I'm just a lowly citizen whose voice really doesn't count. 😒. All I can keep doing is pray that somehow things will get better. Someday.😔

Yes I had a painful lymph gland in the armpit of the arm where I had the jab and a couple along the jaw. Assumed it was the vaccine as they followed on. Ok now

Sorry to hear this. On the plus side it shows her immune system is doing what it should & reacting to the vaccine.

Hint: It's not a vaccine.
