I've not posted for a while as I have been reading lots and lots, afa association fact file on Atrial Fibrillation and tablet information leaflets. Initially it was to see if i was taking meds at proper times and also to read of any side effects. A couple have given me cause to discuss when next i see my cardio nurse. That being Bisoprolol and Betigma.
I am a bit more relaxed about AF as I know now I am not the only person with it, and there's lots of helpful information on here.
As I await my next appointment I am feeling more positive as the tablets seem to be working throughout the day . Why when I try to sleep at night do things change.?
Way out of my comfort zone Deriboo because I hadn’t heard of Betigma which having googled, appears to treat the bladder and being in AF often causes patients to pee a lot too so I’m wondering if there’s a connection. Add to that, the tendency for many to want spend a penny more during the night, some might say, the plot thickens!
Maybe it would help if you told us what was changing at night that causes you concern.......
Thanks I have stopped Betigma because when i read the leaflet it can cause fast heartbeat the reason I was on it was not connected to AF. Yes apparently AF can make you pee more, for me especially first thing in morning. As regards disturbed nights I can sleep a couple of hours then wake with palpations they do subside but it takes ages to get back to sleep or on wakening palpations again
