Hi Mag.

Out of the things you mention the only one I have had is dizziness (that I can recall). This has normally been when I have been in afib and stood up to quickly.

Maybe others may have experienced some of the other things you mention. Fatique and weakeness could well be part of it but I have never felt nausea from afib. We are of course all different.

I can't help more expect to say that is from my personal experience.

I'm unable to comment on any med's you may be taking. However they can cause the things you mention. It can take a month or so for your body to adjust to a new medication should this be the cause. This of course is something to discuss with your medic.

Yes, I've had the symptoms you describe. For me it's when my heart rate is very high. Alongside that I can also become very hot, sweaty and feel I'm going to pass out.

My thyroid turned out to be underactive and taking pills to rectify that got rid of my extreme tiredness.

Yes, if I am in AF. If this happens when you are not in AF you should be tested for other conditions such as eg ear problems or diabetes as it is not wise to assume all symptoms are caused by AF - it could be the other way about.

Yes, tunnel vision, clammy, legs turn to jelly, feeling distinctly odd (but no nausea). But I am not in AF. When it has happened, I have checked on my Kardia, checked my blood pressure, and even started carrying a blood oxygen meter. It normally happens when I am out walking and I bought smelling salts the other day as a back-up. About three or four years ago following a couple of bad episodes I was checked for diabetes, pheochromocytoma and insulinoma - all clear. I have investigated syncope online and 50 percent of those who suffer from it never get a diagnosis. But irregular heartbeat is listed as one of the causes, but I am not in AF at the time. When I am in AF I don't get any of those symptoms.

I experience those feelings, and it usually happens when I have my paroxysmal af episodes.

Today as it happened, not 20 minutes ago. I felt all those things. Still feel tired now. I call it ‘body shock’. As the episodes makes me feel shocked, panicky, hot and clammy, light headed/dream like feelings, all symptoms apart from the fatigue dissipates when the af settles down again. Usually seconds. Sometimes minutes.
