How bad are your symptoms?
Someone here may know John but the best way to find out is to contact the hospital. After waiting 10 months, it would not be unreasonable for you to make an enquiry about progress. As a general observation, because hospitals, especially London ones, are under immense pressure at the moment, they may be restricting things like ablations to only those who are at risk of a life threatening situation which is (fortunately) unlikely if their AF is controlled with medication. That said, you should enquire direct with Hammersmith but be mindful of the current situation......good luck.
Phone/email your consultant's secretary, they will be able to let you know.
Our local hospital is setting up operating theatres as ITUs and struggling to find enough staff as everyone is already exhausted 😢
I dont know how some people are still able to have their ablations. Mine due this week in Surrey has been cancelled and that was after a cancellation in March. I am very symptomatic as well.
