Anyone have experience with a rash after their procedure? I have a raised, itchy red rash around the pelvis/top of thigh that I noticed the day after my procedure. I called doc and he switched anticoagulant meds as he thought it might be the addition of new medication that causes the reaction and I have had allergic reactions in the form of a rash to other meds (including diltiazem). It has been two days and is not subsiding and is even more itchy. Anyone else have experience with this? Thanks in advance!

I had a really bad rash around the groin where the catheter entry point was , and after couple of days could feel a big lump on the same spot, it took weeks to stop being painful and tender . It took a couple of month before it was no longer there and I couldn't feel it anymore. Initially I couldn't pedal my mountain bike it's was so painful. I did call arythmia nurse at the time and she said it was common and to take painkillers in the short term to relieve it, if it developed or became worse to contact them, hope that helps.
