Sorry to hear about your problem Teddi, the only thing I can suggest is that you contact your nearest eye clinic/hospital. If that doesn’t work then I can only suggest A&E at your nearest hospital. Hope you get the help you need quickly...

Definitely go to A+E. My wife had to do this in June 2019 as she woke with a big brown spot in her vision which changed colour and got bigger through the space of the morning to greens and blues - she said looked like a squashed blue bottle and got bigger. we are lucky because we phoned our local Specsavers on both the Saturday and Sunday - on the Saturday they thought it would go after examining her eye for about an hour but as it was still there on the Sunday afternoon examined the eye again and after staying in the store for an hour over their opening hours - bless them they phoned the hospital and asked for them to phone us as soon as possible with an appointment - we had an appointment on the Monday at 12 at the emergency eye clinic and a couple more over the following few weeks and it all worked out fine - just a bleed which cleared up and no torn part found in the eye though this is how it started. We have found that other Specsavers don't come up tho this high standard so would definitely go to A+E if the staff at our local specsavers changed. The Optician at our local Specsavers also works 3 days a week at the hospital we went to so we were in safe hands but not sure that all Specsavers would do this.

I have just experienced a bleed in the eye and also went directly to Specsavers. They arranged for me to go straight to the eye hospital where I have been tested and treated. Doctor advised me to go straight to eye hospital a and e if it should happen again. The effects of the bleed are slowly clearing up 5 weeks later. I am also taking bisoprolol daily.

I’ve no experience of Digoxin I’m afraid.
