I wonder if this is a reason why those with thyroid problems often suffer from af or palpitations . If their thyroids are not producing calcitonin either it would be a double whammy.
Great that they are looking at calcitonin in relation to AF. My heart is totally scarred intended and unintended. How promising to even dream that it could be normal again.
Doesn't an ablation consist of a deliberate scarring to disrupt the route of electrical pathways?
