Guess what paid me a visit today?

Right ... it was afib. I was preparing dinner and l suddenly needed to go potty ... walked into the bathroom and it started. It’s been almost one year since the last episode. I immediately took a sotalol and drank a small can of tomato juice (someone on here recommended) ... prepared my bag and off we went to emergency room. I was there 5 minutes and l returned to natural sinus rhythm! They did their thing nonetheless, gave me a little tranquilizer waited for all of my test results ... and released me. I was there perhaps 1.5 hours. Now all is well! I wonder if the tomato juice fixed things? My heart went up to 125. Thank you my precious Almighty. I was praying like crazy! It works!!! Happy Thanksgiving everybody!

Thank goodness that it stopped so quickly Jan. Interesting re the tomato juice, was it a specific make?

Yes Jean ... it is actually V8 low sodium juice made by Campbells. I bought it in the small cans six together. I ordered in on line from Amazon. She raved about it stopping her afib ... l think it may have worked. I probably waited four months for it ... it isn’t easy to find here for some reason. Get some and have it on hand just in case.
