You need to give us a bit more info, what was said about legs hurting ?

Lord Gabriel had a procedure to block her AF (ablation) which involves threading a catheter from a hole in the groin up into the heart. The puncture wound in the groin often causes the whole leg to hurt because of bruising.

LordGabriel can you help?

For everyone's information if you want to ask a question to a particular person you can go to the chat symbol and send them a private message. Or type an @ symbol and then their name in your post, then they will receive a message saying you have mentioned them. I've done it above, so hopefully Lord Gabriel will now know that someone needs her attention re what they've written.

Oh yes they went in both legs for my Ablation. It hurt so much after. It’s just easing now after 3 weeks!

My Electrophysiologist has said he will not do a 4th ablation if afib returns and only option is pace and ablate. Scary prospect, Ihave read many articles which have not reassured me it's the right way to go. I've always had full general anaesthetic for ablation but pace and ablate will be with sedation not what I needed to hear, also many articles say it's a last resort and you don't cure afib. Yikes any advice would be great. Thanks Carole😃💕

I’m sorry but I haven’t got a pacemaker... I was included in this thread for some reason but it’s not really about me! Maybe start a new thread for advice?
