100% agree. I think afib awareness should be increased tenfold.
Forum members are the lucky ones. We know we have afib and can seek treatments to help control it. There are likely to be many who are unaware - they are of course at risk of stroke etc.
Why on earth doctors surgeries don't have something to ask people to check their pulse evades me. When I go to the doc's there is a screen you watch telling you what to look for (not drink to much etc) but nothing about checking your pulse. It would only take seconds to flash up and might save lives.
