Just had the call from Glenfield Hospital for Pulmonary Vein Isolation on November 5th. I am fairly calm about it, just a bit worried about the Covid aspect. Should I be?

Not from what I've heard. My daughter works at our main hospital and she tells me that the covid area is completely sealed off from the rest.

Thank you!

As Jean says, from what we are hearing, Covid control in hospitals is good.

These factsheets should be helpful too.

My aunt just had carpal tunnel surgery at our local hospital and was very happy . Covid ward seperate from everyone else. Seperate entrance for day surgery. Lots of hygiene measures .

Probably better to have it now then in normal times!!

My best friend also had a planned cardioversion recently there and said the same .xxx
