I am fairly new here and come everyday but rarely post. I am new to all of this and not a confirmed Afibber yet. Fairly certain however. I am grateful for each of your posts and willingness to share. I have a request. Because I am new and a US user, I get confused with the consistent use of letter definition of signs, symptoms, medication, tests and on. So, for us less knowledgeable please spell out if you think we might not understand.

Welcome and hope you find the info helpful.

Just ask if you there is something you don’t know, always someone to point you in the right direction or explain. Unfortunately you will find you will soon become an expert.

You will find slightly different terminology and sometimes advice Europe v US - eg:- ECG (UK) = EKG (US). There is also always Google option.

Spelling it out every time tends to get very tedious when you post or reply a lot and tends to become 2nd nature. It’s also how medics speak so it’s actually worth getting to know the terminology.

Best wishes CD

Thank you. Yes, I just needed the list that was sent to me. I find this a very compassionate site with amazingly honest sharing. Lots of integrity here.
