I've been on lecadapine 20 mg for a month now but my pulse is low
I've always had a resting pulse of around 58 but it's now 48 to 52
I feel light headed and tired
Anyone else experienced this
Cheers Mike

I collapsed in hospital one morning as I got out of bed, my pulse rate was dangerously low. The consultant came hurrying later to say to me look what your heart has been doing and thrust a print out of it in front of me - it meant nothing to my mind. I had been given 100mg of Metoprolol the night before and I've since been told to never take any more than 12.5mg or it could kill me.
I think your BP is too low, not dangerously, some people can tolerate it. However, it's making you feel light headed and tired and I think you need to contact your consultant of GP as soon as possible.
Are you taking this drug for high blood pressure or atrial fibrillation?
Jean
Hi
I'm taking it for blood pressure.
I've had a full battery of test ecg. Ct scan lumber puncture and bloods
My BP is 135 /70.but it's my bpm around 49 to 53.
I've always had a pulse of 58/59
I think it's the lercanidipine giving me the headache 😡
Thank you for taking the time to reply
