Back in AF with new drugs and advice on driving

Hi all well I'm back in AF after two years of sinus rythum but hopefully cardiologist is saying the plan is to cardiovert me as two years in sinus rythum is considered a long time and he thinks it's a good chance of going back.im on new drugs which are riveroxabhan and digitazem sorry for spelling so would appreciate any comment hopefully positive on these as I was on apixabhan and bisoprolol before and also would I still be able to drive as I don't have any symptoms whilst driving.i have small palpitations most of the time but no dizzy spell or blackouts or anything.Thanks in advace

The safest and best thing to do is to check out the DVLA webpages relating to driving with medical conditions. Six years ago, I notified them and received a letter confirming that I was OK to drive. I also notified my insurers who were not overly concerned but I sent them a copy of the letter just to be sure. Things can change, but as I understand it, as long as you do not experience dizziness, blackouts or any other debilitating symptoms you should be OK to drive as long as your Doctor has not expressed a different opinion. However, the onus is on you to check with the DVLA assuming you live in the U.K.

Thanks I do live in the UK .The doc says to just let them know which I have downloaded the form .
