Thankfully no sustained afib since my ablation in March of 2019. Still get a few ectopic heart beats per day though. Anyone still get these post ablation? I’m not on any medications. 35 year old male. Have had para afib since December of 2017.

One year post cryo ablation
Snap. Ablation in September 2019. 34 no medication since procedure. First AFIB around 2015/16. I’m fairly comfortable living with the odd ectopic but also keen to understand how common post ablation.
Ectopic beats are a normal function of any heart regardless of any arrhythmia. Most people do not notice them but AF tends to make us very heart aware so we do. Up to 200 a day is normal for everybody. If these are more common and prolonged there is a very good deep breathing exercise which normally stops them. Use search box top right for this.
I had my ablation jan 19, and yes I still get ectopics.....sometimes they last a while other times short......I try and ignore them but if they go on a long time I lie down and try breathing deep.....I did tell the cardio and he said it was nothing.....

I had an ablation in November 2019 and I still have ectopics everyday. They usually happen after I eat. I also still have very brief bouts of tachycardia or arrhythmias, but only for a few seconds. No AF though. I am an active 53 year old female and not on any medications.
