Have been (attempting) to paint my living room walls and opened a can of Exterior paint by mistake rather than interior paint (different chemicals) and upon breathing in went into immediate AF ? I rushed outside to breath deeply and did some knee bends to exercise a bit and turned inside to ignore it and ready my 300MG of PIP and within minutes I returned to NSR. That is a new one? Chemicals? Really? anyone else triggered by that?

NEW AF Trigger
That’s it......no more decorating for me.....I wonder if gardening would have the same effect!
It wouldn't surprise me at all if chemicals could bring on AF. I once knew an architect who told us how shocked she was regarding the fumes from newly fitted PVC windows! Not to mention those in our carpets, furniture and clothing.

Yes! In fact, I thought my funny turns before diagnosis were caused by solvents.
If you really want to scare yourself have a read at the Safety Data Sheets for common household cleaners and some paints and decorating preparations. Of course, it’s a brilliant excuse to avoid the job as Flapjack says!
It's cold and rainy with winter starting in Seattle so I did not have windows open so the smell of paint which I don't mind was prevalent. *BUT exeterior paint has different chemisty.. Whod'a thunk?
A definate trigger for me.
I can no longer burn any candle (apart from pure beeswax) or artificial scented plug-ins. Last year I heated up linseed oil to make my own polish for wooden crafts, it sent me into AF. I enjoy oil painting, have now changed my solvent to a citrus based one and hopefully it will be ok.
On a positive side, I'm now more aware of the toxins I'm exposing myself to (was a candle addict for years) and now lead a healthier life :o)
By the way, no one should be using paraffin candles or tealights, they really are very toxic. I'm trying to persuade my daughter not to use them, or the scented wax melts she likes, especially as she has two little children. Animals are very sensitive to them too.
Up a tree with a chainsaw?!!😀 blimey!
I am very careful about using gloss paint and always buy low emission paint as I found the high gloss ones set my heart and asthma off.
Strong perfumes also dont do me any favours either.

Well. This is certainly giving me something to think about.
I am a contract cleaner, In an average week I can go through 3-4 bottles of spray polish and the same with air fresheners, then there is the glass cleaner and the sanitiser for the phone handsets!!!
May just have to rethink this now and just try a damp cloth where I can.
Not sure my employer, or the sites I work at will be OK with that.
I don't particularly enjoy the job either but it pays the bills
👍🙄🙄
Nor me! Last week I started lugging concrete slabs about like my old self would have done, until i stopped and thought maybe let my husband do it lol!
