Sorry to hear this.

However, it is still early days and you may still be successful in being back in NSR long term. You are still in the blanking period.

Is your hypertension under control?

Are you receiving any therapy for SA?

i take losartan and elprenorone for the hyper tension. Have a cpap machine for the SA but havent been using it lately cause i have had a cold. need to lose weight desperately and have made some progress but need more. Really enjoy normal rhthym to live healthy again.TY for your help..

I use my CPAP even when I have a cold. It's not comfortable but I don't want to end up back in AF

Yes I also use my cpap even if I ha e a cold etc. And I use “AYR” nasal saline mist daily & before bed too.

Sleep apnea is very stressful to the heart. Please use it. Good luck.

I can imagine that you feel disheartened but you need to read this. What you are experiencing is not unusual within the recovery period......

Soooooooo normal. Start light exercise by walking for ten minutes a day.

Yes ty guys..i just wanted to say i went back to normal rhythym last night.. very grateful for that ..this is a great website because it gives people a chance with afib to support each other..that can be very uplifting and i ty guys for reaching out to me..it gave me hope!!

After my ablation I had a couple of episodes of afib. There is a period when the heart is healing. It was discouraging, but it didn’t last. Talk to your EP about it.

It’s normal to go in and out the first three months. They should have told you. Contact your EP. he may want to do a cardioversion if you stay in afib.

May I ask are you I any medication? I’m very interested in hearing about if patients can get off meds after ablation?

Yes, it may take 2 to 3 months to stop the medicines.

Glad to hear you are back in NSR. Don't be surprised if AF comes back again during this 3 month period. After my first ablation I had several bouts. One for 10 days. Everything was ok then for quite a while. With many people it settles then.🤞🤞💓
