Things to do in lock down

I told you Sam always had plenty of jobs lined up for me so today was put soda and vinegar down all the sinks to clean them followed by "oh there is some grass growing in the gutter by our bedroom" Ladder out and bucket and scraper and ended up cleaning all the gutters out round the bungalow. Now working round cleaing copious moss off tiles I can reach. This job will run and run.

Glad you are finding such exciting things to fill your time. I’ve cut my fingernails, toenails and unblocked bathroom basin this morning. Think this afternoon I’ll clean freezer out.

My house has never been so clean, all laundry and ironing done, fridge cleaned out too and it’s only day 4 of my self isolation. Stay safe and watch the ladders Bob. xxx

I’m really good at mentally listing all the things I should be doing, then getting on and doing what I want to do. 😂

My mantra is more insane: if I had nothing to do, I'd still be busy!

Absolutely! Glad to see I'm not the only one 😂😂

Ooh, may I have the recipe please? I will have to do my own sink cleaning as Mr Buff is off to the the allotment nearly every waking hour but I'm praying they don't close them all the same 😁

Oh yes Bob!We are reorganising part of a large garden!Oh boy, that will take most of the summer.Husband has decide to dismantle and rebuild a lean to that contains shed overload. We older ones, although at greater risk, have more resources to draw on than many of the younger ones I fear.

I have spent the morning on my hands and knees digging up weeds from the cracks in the drive, it needs cement sweeping in the cracks but that will have to wait now unil we are allowed out of hibernation .

I think I can miss out the kneeling and stretch exercise for today , I have killed two birds with one stone :-) ..

stalled a long time ago sadly but so long as rate stays below 90 I'm good. Sometimes it really does drop to below 70!

I retired from work on Friday due to being on the 'list' of vulnerable souls as I'm on cancer treatment plus all the hearty issues so, here I am with all this 'free' time to start doing all those chores I've said to myself "I'll do that when I retire"...…...so far so good. Yesterday I scrubbed all the skirting boards and paintwork in my hallway-I have a big dog who leans against the wall etc after wet/muddy walks. I did this for a few hours and I was having flutters all day yesterday, but decided to just get on with it and keep busy. Am ok this morning but confess still in my dressing gown :-). Today it's a day online with my writing course though....mind you, I need to clean out that cupboard and...…...and …..

stay safe and well everyone.

Blue :-)

Ah nikonBlue; you have just added another job to my list - my muddy outer hall! My dog does the same when she is wet although with her it is excitement, she scoots round the hall and then all the sofas drying herself off.

I didn't know about those, wilsond. I love learning, so I'll take a look on the Open University site. Thanks!

I've done several courses with future learn and really enjoyed them. Go check the list! Stay well,

Blue ☺️

I'm still working from home, keeping servers and databases running.

When I finish my day I'm too worried and miserable to do much else. I had planned to do quite a few things

I made a joke last week about people panic buying emulsion in B&Q. I went in a couple of days later and the shelves actually were bare, apart from a couple tins of bile green.

Should look nice in the bedroom...

I have so so many jobs I could be doing but find that the depression I am suffering from stops me concentrating for more than 5 minutes and that’s if I even get the motivation to start. Am looking at hubby now fast asleep in the corner who seems to have no problem doing nothing even though he usually plays squash 3 times a week. Oh happy days 🤦‍♀️.

Don’t go falling off that ladder now!
