I am sure many people find that exertion may bring on AF but against that many find exercise can terminate an AF event. We are all different and there is no normal.

I agree with Bob - before I started Flecainide anything which changed my breathing such as going uphill, climbing stairs, bending down or talking too excitedly triggered arrhythmias. But - when I have ectopics, slight exertion sometimes get rid of them. No logic to it at all.

Yes any sort of exercise will make my heart do weird things unless it’s done real slow. Slowish walk is ok but if I step up the pace it’s not happy.

I find if I increase my heart rate, for instance go jogging would trigger AF. I can walk quite briskly, walk the 18 hole golf course, as long as there is not too many hills to climb, I am fine. Climbing a lot of stairs would be no good for me.

for the first 20 months of my AF when my HR went up i went running and 7 to 10 mins , mile mile and a quarter later I was in NSR.

Unfortunately AF progressed and the magic trick stopped working on the 12th attack!

I probably had 40 episodes of AF over a 5 year period before I had an ablation done and for pretty much every one I was able to get back into NSR by running for a few minutes.
