AF and Coronavirus-specific information.

Does anyone know of any information specific to AF and the coronavirus? It’s said that people with heart problems are especially at risk, but does that just mean those with heart disaease or AF too? I’m guessing there are implications but I don’t know how great they are.

AF is an electical problem with the heart rather than heart disease. Lungs and heart are connected although I'm not that sure afibbers would be at anymore risk than non afibbers. That's assuming you don't have heart disease / damage but only a-fib.

Just my opinion of course.

I agree with Paul that AF alone leads to no more than avereage risk as has been stated here many times over the last few days.

Admin posted the usual guideance a coupe of days ago.

Having AF makes us no more at risk of catching it either. If you get it so be it. Usual precautions will be taken but que serra. My Probus has taken the decision to suspend meetings till June and re-appraise things then and I know many groups and organisations doing similar. Get used to it. We are in for the long haul. No Formula 1, no Olympic Games, no football etc no cricket in summer. What joy?

That's funny. Made me laugh out loud. No mean task since I am back in hospital with uncontrolled afib again.

But I LOVE the Olympics....

The Japanese PM says the OLYMPICS will still be on!

Of course as all the airlines will have gone bust by then they may win all the medals as no one else can get there!
