Laser Eye Surgery when on Apixaban?

Having eye surgery next week for glaucoma.

Anyone had similar done whilst on Apixaban? I haven't been asked to stop it but just wondered what others' experience was.

i was on warfarin and then Edoxiban (one for each eye for op) and no problem! all was okay and glad I had my eyes done. No drops now !!!!

I had a very scary acute glaucoma attack and had laser surgery a couple of days later. Stayed on Eliquis with no problem. Coming up on my 1year check up, no problems. I did take a Valium before in hopes of avoiding stress-induced AFib episode, which worked.

I have had both cataracts done and laser surgery in relation to glaucoma all while taking Apixiban....no problem at all

Had the procedure yesterday and all went well, and I didn’t stop Apixaban like everyone else.
