Hells bells ............ where did those 10 years go and thanks so very much to a great medical team .... my GP in Dorking, Surrey who organised my admittance to East Surrey Hospital A & E (in a hurry) and to the A & E team and Cardiac team at East Surrey who got to work on me so quickly .......... from first onset (of something wrong) to diagnosis and treatment started of around 9 hours .............. brilliant.
AF didn't have a chance of bedding down with that aggressive onslaught.
Morning John, now what's this post all about - singing praises to your first AF episode medical helpers? Did you have a heart attack or stroke at that time?
Having know you for many years now, I know that your good health today is because of you desperately seeking advice on natural cures and changing your diet drastically. So I guess we're all a little bit taken aback at you giving medical staff the credit at the time of your first AF experience. Or was it not an A&E visit for AF?
Credit where it's due ....that day I felt like I was going down with flu. UNTIL that is my blood pressure began to fall rapidly over a few hours, down from around 152/90 to 76/50. Saw my GP who rang hospital and got me to A& E immediately. I think he thought I was gonna snuff it in his surgery. That led to my AF diagnosis. The natural cures and diet stuff came much later.
Good to read a tribute to the medical profession. Everyone is looking for the holy grail of a quick cure, so it is good to read a tribute for a job well done.
