All sounds about normal for somebody with AF so good news really.

Well done 6times for your persistence. Keeping copies of everything connected with our health is essential, I think - especially if we are seeing different docs in more than one centre.

Absolutely, back in the day it was very different, today you can talk to many different medics and non-medics, things get lost and sometimes they don't devote sufficient time to the case history. I always request copies of all tests and have a 'reminder list' with me for any consultation. As well as making notes after each consultation. OTT I don't think so, it has been helpful not least in feeling more in control of your treatment.

I can’t get copies of anything other than bloods - I can reports of tests - but never copies - it’s the protocol of our local Trust.

I tried to get copies of x-rays & was just told no. It depends upon the organisation & who ‘owns’ the report.
