Afib and Aneurysm

Hello,

I was diagnosed with Afib in 2011, in 2012 due to being in constant Af I had cardioversion. This was successful and was discharged on flecanide 300mg a day, bisoprolol, Ramipril and Warfarin, (I am now taking Apixaban instead).

Over the last few years my AF has been well managed and only rare episodes, up until the last few months.

In August 19 I started with chronic headaches, sight deterioration and nausea. I have been referred to a Neurologist and the MRI has shown a 7mm ophthalmic artery aneurysm on my right side. I have also noticed more frequent episodes of AF over the last few months. I was wondering if they are both linked??

As anyone else been diagnosed with a Aneurysm as well as AF??

😊

I am not a medic and do not have an opthalmic aneurysm.I suggest your cardiologist and neurologist need to be in touch soonest in order to best advise you.Maybe start with the neurologist .
