My GP has taken me off Digoxin for no apparent reason. This appears to be the only pill that I was prescribed specifically for AF at the time of diagnosis so I don't understand why. I'm obviously going to have to see him but in the meantime, can anybody help? I'm particularly worried what the results will be of long term (possibly) withdrawal?
I am taking Warfarin and BP pills, including Lisinopril.

Only your Dr will know, I was on Digoxin to limit the speed/timing of signals passing to the ventricles (as these can cause Aflutter). After an EP study and an ablation the EP said to continue but a week later the Cardiologist and GP took me off Digoxin, been fine now for 7 months.
Mine took me off after a few weeks. Just said 'these are doing nothing for you' I was just relieved to see a reduction in my meds I didn't even ask why!!
