I am having these heart palpitations (tachycardia) from the last 4 months (specially after eating). Done 4 ECGS all blood work everything came back fine except low B12 and folate levels.
I bought a FITBIT watch just to track my heart rate during sleep and daytime. It was all okay from the last 2 weeks but yesterday morning when I woke up I saw there was a sudden spike from 60s BPM to 90-120BPM for 2 hours and then came back to 60s BPM. The sudden spike of heart rate didn't woke me up, just found out in the morning.
Could this be a glitch of the watch OR there is something serious going on.

I wouldn't worry about it happening one time. It could be a glitch. If it happens again, or frequently, you may want to ask about getting a sleep study to assess the issue.
