Hello Affibbers it’s been a while since I’ve posted. Looks like my husband’s
ablation in Oct 2017 hasn’t done the trick 😞. Has anyone out there had two or more ablations and are now free of AF I need some positive inspiration.

How long ago was the ablation?
Although NSR is infinitely preferable, many people live with chronic AF and live well.
What are your concerns?
My concern is that it was such a dreadful time for us both. Certainly not as easy as our consultant seem to suggest. It took at least 9 months to recover to full strength as well as the psychological side of things for him.
It was carried out in October2017.
The positive side I suppose is that we both understand things more.
Three up to 2008= no AF since.
Yes - I’ve had 4 ablations in just over 2 years (first 2 were for SVT, third was for AF & Flutter and 4th for AF). I’m now feeling really good so don’t give up.
Thank you so much for your reply.
It’s given be a real boost. Obviously I don’t know what the condition is like personally but I worry for my husband. I always think the worst .
I would rather have it done myself than put him through it again. Do thank you. I feel more positive now and we shall crack on back to Papworth again.
Sorry to hear that but from others experience take the opportunity to have another go if the symptoms are so bad,
