Acronym's anyone else having trouble

Hello all, fairly new to the site and struggling with some of the acronym's that folk use in their messages. I'm guessing these are used regularly within the NHS but to those of us from overseas (read me) it gets a bit confusing. Is there a crib sheet?

No, don't worry, we tend to concentrate more on the posts here than what surrounds them.

It is always a good idea to use the proper term and add acrnoym such as Quality of life (QOL) or Cardioversion (DCCV) in the beginning. And if you are wondering about that last one, Direct Current Cardio Version.
