I want to ask if anyone of you had a blocked tear duct and if he cured it with some natural methods and which are they.
Also if anyone had any experience of paroxysmal af during an ascorinostomy as the blocked tear duct surgery is called and if yes what caused it, type of anesthesia, surgery stress before or after, nasal sprays postoperative, anything might help me in my decision to udergo it or not. I am very sensitive to any change in my daily routine as regards af and even small changes might be triggers.
Thank you all in advance, I appreciate your help very much.

I have no personal experience but can say that since we are all different one can't say that you will or will not react to this procedure. If a local anaesthetic were to be used then demanding one without adrenaline usually limits the affect on your heart. This is normal with dental work and other minor surgery such as when I had an in-growing toe nail removed.
Thank you Bob, I am asking this when I am at the dentist's but I think this local anesthetics and mild sedation are different and adrenaline is not one of the ingredients, I sure will talk about it with the eye doc, otherwise I will continue crying ha,ha .. it is annoying because you have a blurred vision.
I had this minor procedure decades ago. It didn’t solve this annoying issue, as when you have tears running down your face some people assume that you must be very distraught! The blockage may not be in the sac. Try gently rinsing under your eyelids with warm water each morning. Also, avoid wearing eye cosmetics and see if this helps. I have an ophthalmic nursing’s diploma from the 1970’s...Good luck!
Thank you Pacific. I am doing warm compresses with chamomile every morning and night and I feel relieved. You are right this minimally operation success is around 60% although they insist that it is higher around 85-95 %. I am doing light massage also in the place where the tear duct is, see if it improves. Not using any cosmetics at all. How did you solve your problem? Best. Have a nice weekend.
