In my humble opinion, Im totally fine. Been trying to live healthier, no a fib in over a year, got a new puppy... life is great. Just posting to show what our minds can do, my appointment got switched to today instead of next week, due to cancellations. I have not one complaint in the world other than age related aches and pains. But as I sit here, I feel my anxiety ramping up, which ramps up my blood pressure... and God forbid it wakens the sleeping AF dog in the back room. I know Im being silly. I need to focus on what Im thankful for!
Just a little whine. I will add to this after my appt.
Here is a pic of baby Jazz
Appointment over: All good! Thankful ol girl here🌟
Thankyou! Yes, it was love at first sight for me too💜. I wasnt looking for another dog but she found me!!! Our old shepherd is 12,now, he thinks she is pretty cute too, dirty old man!.
Yes, Jazz is 11 wk old german shepherd. Ive always loved all dogs but especially shepherds. Our old shepherd is 12 and feeling his age. Jazz is perking us all up, lol
Oh bless, I love Shepherds. Because of our ill health and him pulling at 11 months old I had to let our Dave go to a wonderful couple who have 3 acres for him to run about with a female shepherd they had. I miss him so so very much , luckily they have a B and B so we book in every 3 months to go and see him. He still recognises us and I love him to bits and would have him back tomorrow now we are feeling so much better. They are so loyal and wonderful, enjoy, enjoy xx
Im so happy you can go back and visit. I had the think long and hard about can I physically handle such a powerful dog at my age(66) as ol arthritis is picking on my. She will be my last large dog as is my 10 yr old horse Brumby. Both seem to sense I need to be handled gently, lol.
Oh bless, yes we are both 70 . I wake up missing him and would give anything to have him back. I daren't even mention it when we go to see him because they love him too. We have always had shepherds and somehow this seems harder knowing he is with someone else than it was when we lost our dogs in the past through age and illness.
My poor hubby’s shoulder was pulled out when he last walked him and then hubby had three heart attacks and just had his kidney taken out due to it being cancerous. He has had a stent, waiting for another and I have just had a successful ablation so things are bit better this year. Just need to have Dave back now lol x
It sounds like you did the best thing for the health of you both and for the dog. We also have a rescued toy poodle who is a sweet lap dog. Maybe consider finding a quiet small dog who is looking for love?
