This cartoon made me laugh as it really is quite accurate. I’d urge anyone with uncontrolled AF to have a sleep study. As horrid as it was it gave my EP some good insights.
Hopefully the extra oxygen I’m now breathing in at night will help with the recovery from my next ablation. When I have my procedure on Friday I’ll be around 10 kilograms lighter than I was for my last ablation. I’ve been working hard to be in the best possible physical shape.
This time I’m going to conquer this beast! 😉

I’m hoping so much that Friday puts on end to all you have been through. Well done for the weight loss and getting fitter in preparation for the fight! You are going to be the winner this time for sure.
Friday Kaz, ,that’s come round quick .....great you’ve lost weight, I lost weight too after my afib started....not on purpose initially I fekt just too I’ll to eat heartily and also my wine intake stopped, 😩but once you start to loose it’s just soooooooo nice to feel the clothes looser isn’t it......and encourages more to loose weight......I’m having a blip at mo, two months after ablation, think I’ve been getting ahead of myself doing a lot, my hearts jumping around and I’m exhausted....so resting.....
Good luck for Friday.🙏🙏👍.....and Greece next year.....I’m planning Oz in September, but my blip has worried me today, it’s easy to be disheartened with this beast isn’t it......
Thanks Sue. Sorry to hear about your blip but you know what they say “3-6 months”. I’ve actually felt quite good the last few days - it makes me wonder if there’s anything really wrong or if it’s all in my head 😂🙃🤪
