I had cardioversion on Jan 21, Great success Ben in SR since. Today I met with doctor (GP) .I take Sotolol and Digoxin and warfarin. Doctor said her and cardiologist decided to switch my warfarin to Xeralto cause only need to take once a day , I also do not metabolize well so switch is better. Then she said we want you to quit digoxin hopefully you stay in SR it if your heart does anything strange come in ( no tapering) just do not take tomorrow morn. Continue with the Sotolol 80 mg 2 times a day. Then said if it throws me out of SR Afib is not life threatening but SVT can be so that is what you watch for and that is what sotolol does . I am of course stressed cause I am scared of going back into AF and I feel so much better in SR, I know that can change at anytime but hate to think I bring it on by discontinuing the digoxin. Seems like with this Afib always a curve around a corner.I find just as you get used ti something and your anxiety goes back down , I hit another curve. I hope I am not the only one to feel this way.

I'm wondering why they want to drop digoxin if it works for you? Did they explain why?

The answer was that to many meds can cause more arrhythmia’s so sine I am back in SR they would go that route. They said there concer is more with SVT cause that can kill you as the Afib will not so if they can take me off the digoxin and things remain stable good, or

They may have to put me bCk on it or something later if it causes issues and I go back in Afib.
