I've watched a short video from the University of Birmingham but don't know how to share link. It's about Atrial Fibrillation. If anyone manages to find it and watches it, I'd be interested in their comments. It's scary stuff!!

Is that it ?
Yes that's it. Read the text under the video.
Just watched I had a stroke 9 years ago whilst having svt episode
Are you ok now? What meds do you take?
I’m fine thanks was they said a minor stroke lost left side 24 hrs but speech was weird for a few months and memory bad. I refused beta blockers until recently but take 75 mg aspirin daily and the drs refuse to say the svt causes the stroke. But my heart rate was at 200 they said that could have been because I was having a stroke so I’ll never know. But I’m ok now just memory issues.
I watched it after your recommendation Gwersey. Yes, it certainly hits home! I read all the text that went with the video too!!
I wonder will Bob read it. I know he gets impatient with scaremongering. The statistics in the video contradict a lot of what is said about Afib eg. it won't kill you etc.
I somehow don't think he will read it and may poo, poo it if he did anyway. I think as long as we don't try to carry on and do something that requires exertion when our body is telling us to stop (either by fast heart rate, feeling ill, or tiredness), then we are fairly safe from sudden death. When cutting the grass at my home, I have to do a bit and stop to rest for as many times as I think is needed.
try this link too - more info given.....

That's a good video, very interesting about the BNP being a marker, my BNP is raised but Cardio dismissed it as not important !!
If you click on YouTube at the bottom of the video it gives you underneath access to the website the lady talks about
birmingham.ac.uk/research/h... When on the website go to the bottom of the page and you can download the MyAF on to your mobile phone. I did it; it contains lots of information which I haven't looked at it all yet but I think will be very informative and perhaps useful.
